The Baisubani winery found in 1950 Based on J. Stalin project, was fully upgraded in 1997. It was the base on which the ‘’Kindzmarauli’’ LTD was established.

The managers of the winery are willing and ready to introduce modern winemaking methods what will certainly add to further raising the quality of wines. The company operates on the name of Kindzmarauli Wine Cellar as well. The winery is located in the Baisubani village, Lagodekhi district of Katheti, one of the most picturesque regions of the country where winemaking is developed.

The Lagodekhi district is a state forest reserve. In the thick woods lying 1800 m about sea level, many a rare species of the Caucasian flora and fauna are to be found. Almost all the animal species enjoy protection of the state.

The wine yards of ‘’Kindznarauli’’ LTD (comprising 90 hectare)  in the Baisubani village in majestic vicinities of the Kabali River would stretch along the both banks of the river. From the left side, Baisubani borders Azerbaijan villages – Kabali, Ganjala and Karajala, with whom we have been friends for several centuries.

In spring the streams flowing down from mountain ranges, would sweep out the rocks and bring a lot of natural pest down in the valley. Besides the widely known mineral substances brought by the water, there are many precious metals to be found in the riverbeds. All this will certainly add to the unique value of the local environment. The wine is known to be characterized by high absorbing capacity and presence of abundant natural fertilizers will have a great wholesome effect upon to the taste of the grapes and thus upon the quality of the wine products manufactured of them.
